Outrage Grows Over Killing Of Teen Playing Rap Music — Black America Web

PHOENIX (AP) — Hundreds of people including a presidential candidate spoke out on Twitter this week after a 17-year-old black youth was killed at suburban convenience store, allegedly by a white man charged Tuesday with first-degree murder who has said he felt threatened by the boy’s rap music.

Family members have told local media that Elijah Al-Amin would have turned 18 in two weeks and was looking forward to his last year in high school. https://blackamericaweb.com/2019/07/09/outrage-grows-over-killing-of-teen-playing-rap-music/

  1. Hello Kreb. The racist are not even trying any more. There are three issues here. One the idea that music is threatening and even if it was that it is justification for murder. No to both! The idea that you can kill someone due to the music they are listening too is too stupid to even give credit too. The issue of the man’s mental illness. Mentally ill doesn’t excuse murder. Part of the problem with mental illness in the US is money has been slashed for treatment programs and for inpatient facilities. So mentally ill people end up in jails / prisons where they receive no treatment but their conditions are made worse. The last issue is we release these people from prison / jail with no evaluation or treatment plans so they end up reoffending or committing some other anti-social activity. It is an outrage that in two cases young people lost their lives due to the anger of white men. Hugs

  2. Hello Kreb. they sentence “It is an outrage that in two cases young people lost their lives due to the anger of white men.” Should have ended with “over the music they played”. Hugs
