Chicago Paramedics Says It Was A ‘Tragic Error’ To Let A 17-Year-Old Gunshot Victim Die In The Street — Nappy Newz

On June 18, 2018, 17-year-old Erin Carey survived a gunshot wound to the head in Chicago. However, as he was lying in the street, a white sheet was thrown over him by the paramedics and he was left for dead, not being treated for an hour. Fox 5reports, “Shortly after the shooting, TV cameras captured Carey moving under the sheet for at least 15 minutes.” He later died at the hospital. https://nappynewz.com/2019/07/16/chicago-paramedics-says-it-was-a-tragic-error-to-let-a-17-year-old-gunshot-victim-die-in-the-street/

If he was a dog, they would have saved him. My heart breaks.

  1. Hello Kreb. Yes they seriously screwed up. That is not even something a rookie would do to assume someone was dead. I am surprised there has not been at least a reprimand put in their files, except that would would be used in a lawsuit. I agree it is tragic. Any idea how he got shot? Hugs

      1. Very disturbing story, Scottie. It helps prove the notion that all policing organizations in this country has been infiltrated by white nationalists/supremacists. It also adds to the notion that so many white people are the most evils and soulless creatures on earth. Plain hate and terrorism.

      2. Hello Kreb. I think any time one group has almost unlimited power over another group abuses are guaranteed. I just can not understand why this treatment of POC has not caused more outrage. I am still stunned that police can kill unarmed non-threatening POC on video and still be acquitted. Hugs
