  1. Well, I am sporting the ‘natural’ look and though I sometimes resemble Don King’s daughter, it beats getting that dreaded diagnosis. We Black women have a time with our hair and that is no lie! I’ve chopped mine off so many times, only to grow it back and be back at square one. We are to embrace our thick hair, but I gotta tellya, in the winter is the hardest time to manage my hair because in the summer, I just wash and go, but in the winter, you can’t just leave your hair wet and go out into the cold. GRRRRRRR! And people have the nerve to tell me that I have a ‘nice grade of hair’. They don’t hear me screeching and wailing when I take the pick to it.

Thanks for the great advice Kreb!
